DR. DANIELS AND A TEAM OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS VISIT GUATEMALA:
On March 17th, I took my 7th trip to Guatemala! I want to THANK everyone who has supported us over the years. This year - we raised over $15,000 and installed 60 new stoves and water filters in families homes. You all mean the world to me and I’m proud to have so many people helping us do good in the world.
Day 1 - Village of ChuChu, about 2 hours from Antigua where we stay. We installed 20 stoves and 20 water filters. It was an awesome day full of a ton of great memories and tons of thanks from the families that we helped.
Day 2 - Santo Tomas
What an amazing day! This is the first time that Xavier came into the villages with us - and you can see he was a huge help!!! 20 more stoves and water filters installed. Tons of love, thanks and a much better future ahead.
Day 3: Magdalena
We finished up our week installing the last 20 water filters and cooking stoves. Overall 60 families in 3 villages received cooking stoves and water filters. It was an awesome week with our team of 17 (including Xavier)! Thank you to all of you who donated to this amazing cause that helped us deliver such a great gift to these families.

A few words from our amazing Guatemala team
"We have spent the last few days installing 60 stoves and 60 water filters in 3 different villages. It's always such a joy to be able to be a blessing to these wonderful families that so truly need it. Thank you for all of those who helped make this trip possible - we couldn't do it without you!" ~ Ashley Boyne
"There are no words to describe the amazing experience we had in Guatemala. A labor of love, a life changing experience and a gift of a life time. I am forever grateful!" - Carla Bettano
"The new friends, the teamwork, the helping of others in need... Each child we encountered will benefit in some way. Whether it’s their mother living a few years longer with less smoke in her lungs, or one of their friends having an accident from an open flame, which has caused too many to lose their lives. Installing 60 stoves in different homes, everyone did an amazing job. I am blessed to be able to do my small part along with many others." - Matthew Moore
"I am so humbled and grateful to have been a part of this effort to build new stoves and provide water filter systems for such kind hearted people. To give is to receive!" - Laura Glassman
The CVO Team, our patients and their families had an amazing time at our first ever Patient Appreciation Day! The event was held at
Newhoca Park in Vernon. 100% of the proceeds and donations received during the event were donated to the Vernon Park and Rec
Send a Kid to Camp program. We raised over $1,000!
